ST. LUCIA HISTORY

From sugar slaves to global tourism

SHOPPING

The Castries Market is colorful, but the quality of objects in the stalls is not excellent, many are made in China. Among the goods you'll see spices, straw, small wooden sculptures, ceramics such as the Coal-pot, that is the typical terracotta brazier.

There are also the Place Crenage and Pointe Seraphine duty free, shopping and crafts centers at Castries and the J.Q's Mall  in Rodney bay. Delightful are the scents of Caribbean Perfumes, in Vigie Cove.
